If at first you don’t succeed…

“What happens if I get an outcome I don’t like?” Well, you appeal the decision. In Ohio, you may file to appeal a decision made by a judge once he has filed a final appealable order. At this point, you may file a notice of appeal within thirty (30) days. After filing this notice, an attorney must file what is called an appellate brief based on the transcripts from the court, as well as any relevant case law.
